- Frankincense essential oil (optional) — 5 drops
Measure out the vitamin C powder in a medium bowl. Add water and whisk until fully blended. Now add the aloe vera gel, vitamin E oil, and frankincense essential oil. Blend again. Use a funnel to transfer the prepared serum into an amber glass bottle. The tinted glass helps protect it from harmful rays of sunlight.
Only apply this serum before going to bed. Never at daytime. Vitamin C may cause photosensitivity under sun exposure. Best to do a test patch on the inside skin of your elbow. See how your skin responds. You will notice results within a few weeks up until 3 months. Stay committed in order to speed up the healing process.
